..........Redlands Ashlyn Group was established in 1989.The first venture was Precision weighing balances and scales catering primarily to the jewelry industry and analytical laboratories. The group's headquarters and R & D unit in thrissur, Kerala, India Redlands Ashlyn Motors Plc is the latest venture of the group The factory complex is at Malumachampatty, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. The facility spans an area of 66000 sq.m and will include an engine assembly line,pre treatment plant, paint shop and assembly lines for agricultural, construction and commercial vehicles.

In 1989,the group entered the precision weighing balance business catering primarily to the jewelry industry and research laboratories. In 1996, a new division was formed to manufacture, market and service offset print finishing equipment.Today this division is a leading player in printfinishing and packing equipment in The Middle East region, India and South East Asia under the Redlands Champion and Loretta brands.

Since 1999, Ashlyn Chemunnoor Instruments Pvt Ltd has promoted the application of XRF instruments for the non destructive analysis of precious metal jewelry.In 2007, the company introduced the handhheld XRF portable series for onsite metallurgical applications. XRFs today help industries to conform to Rohs, ELP standards and for online and offline quality control in production.

Currently group provides direct employment to almost 400 people and indirectly to another 1000 plus people.In 2010 the group's combined revenues totaled INR 930 million

Redlands Machinery Pvt.Ltd - India : Group's Indian Associate, involved in marketing and after sales service support in the Indian market.It has branches and service centers in Mumbai, Delhi, Sivakasi, Thrissur and Chennai. Redlands is pioneered in providing cost effective and automated print finishing equipment to the Indian print fraternity.

Afra International FZC, Nairobi, Kenya : Providing world class cost effective automated printing and packing solutions in the East African region. Activities include providing after sales support and spares throughout the region.

Afra East Trading EST, Saudi Arabia: The company established at Saudi Arabia is involved in the marketing of printing and packaging equipment throughout the country, facilitating a full fledged after sales support with trained technical staff and spares depot.

Mahalakshmi Industries - Thrissur : The Group's Indian industry which established in thrissur,kerala. and produces Econo Gold purity analyzers and fake currency detectors.Many other office automation products are in Research and development process

Shanghai Asianray Industry Development Co.Ltd : Started its operation as a trading and sourcing company in 2003,and is based in Shanghai,China. ASL takes care of the group's activities in Far East Asia, Russia, South America,North America and Eastern Europe. Activities involve marketing, exporting, customer support and logistics for spares.

Afra International FZC, Sharjah - UAE : Established at the Sharja International Airport free zone,Sharjah focuses on regional and international trading logistics and warehousing.

Shanghai Loretta Machinery Manufacturing Co.Ltd : Set up in 2007.This company manufactures Automatic Die cutters and Thermal Laminators.
